1. I cannot edit a requirement
Possible Causes and Solutions:
The item is not checked out: Ensure that the requirement is checked out to you. You can do this by right-clicking on the requirement and selecting "Check Out."
The item is checked out by another user: Verify if another user has already checked out the requirement. You can check this in the status column or contact the user to coordinate.
2. I cannot trace/link/connect an element to another one /
Possible Causes and Solutions:
The relationship does not exist in the data model: Make sure that the relationship type between the two elements exists in the data model. Contact the administrator to add the necessary relationship if it is missing.
The item types are incompatible: Check whether the two elements are of types that can be linked based on the project's configuration.
3. I cannot see certain items/requirements/test cases in the document
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Filters are applied: Ensure that no filters are hiding the items. Clear any active filters or adjust them to include the missing items.
Permissions are restricted: Verify if you have the necessary permissions to view those items. Contact the administrator if you suspect a permissions issue.
4. I cannot create a new requirement/item/test case/element
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Insufficient permissions: Ensure that your role allows you to create new requirements. Contact the administrator if needed.
The document is locked: Check if the document is locked by another user or requires you to check it out first.
5. I cannot import a document
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Incorrect template: Ensure that the document you are trying to import matches the expected template format.
Permissions issue: Confirm that you have the necessary permissions to import documents into the project.
6. I cannot generate a report
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Template not configured: Check if the report template is available and properly configured in the project.
Insufficient permissions: Ensure you have the required permissions to generate reports. Contact the administrator if necessary.
Missing required fields: Some reports require specific fields to be filled in. Verify that all required data is available.
7. I cannot baseline a document
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Document is not checked in: Ensure that the document is checked in before attempting to baseline it.
Insufficient permissions: Check if your role includes permission to create baselines.
Baseline limit reached: Some projects may have a limit on the number of baselines. Verify with the administrator.
8. I cannot delete an item/element/requirement
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Permissions issue: Ensure you have delete permissions for the item. Contact the administrator if needed.
Item is part of a baseline: Items included in a baseline cannot be deleted. Consider creating a new baseline if changes are required.
The item is not checked out: Ensure that the requirement is checked out to you. You can do this by right-clicking on the requirement and selecting "Check Out."
The item is checked out by another user: Verify if another user has already checked out the requirement. You can check this in the status column or contact the user to coordinate.
9. I cannot find the traceability matrix
Possible Causes and Solutions:
The matrix is not configured: Verify if the traceability matrix has been set up in the project. Contact the administrator to verify you have access to it.
Filters are hiding elements: Ensure that no filters are applied that might hide items in the traceability matrix.
10. I cannot export a document
Possible Causes and solutions:
Format not supported: Visure allows export to Word and Excel, if you want to export to excel, you have to open the List View.
11. The application is running very slowly
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Too many open sessions: Close any unnecessary sessions of the application running on other devices.
Large project size: Check if the project contains a high volume of data and try archiving old items to improve performance.
Network issues: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and contact IT support if the issue persists.
12. I cannot use the attribute I created in my document
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Incorrect document scope: The attribute might not contain the document in scope.
Check the document scope in the attribute: Check in the Custom Attributes section if the Document is included in the Scope tab.
13. I cannot/ I don't find how to save a document
Document are not saved, only items can be saved. However, all items and documents are autosaved.
14. My changes are not reflected in the document
Possible Causes and Solutions:
The document is cached: Refresh the document to view the latest changes.
The changes were not saved: Ensure that you clicked "Save" after making modifications.
15. I cannot copy or move an item/element/requirement between documents
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Incompatible document types: Check if the source and target documents support the item type.
Permissions issue: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions for both documents.
16. I cannot edit a Data Model/Datamodel
Possible Causes:
Not right clicking on the Data Model: Double clicking the Data Model will open it. However to edit a Data Model, right click on it and then click on Edit.
17. I cannot recover a deleted item/requirement/element
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Item is permanently deleted: Once an item is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Check the recycle bin: Some systems have a recycle bin for temporarily deleted items. Restore it from there if available.
18. I cannot assign a task to a user
Possible Causes and Solutions:
User is not part of the project: Add the user to the project before assigning tasks.
Task assignment restrictions: Check if your role allows you to assign tasks.
19. I cannot upload attachments
Possible Causes and Solutions:
File size too large: Ensure that the attachment is within the allowable size limit.
Unsupported file format: Verify that the file format is supported by the system.
20. I cannot view historical changes to an item
Possible Causes and Solutions:
History tracking not enabled: Verify if the project's configuration includes history tracking for the item.

21. I cannot share a document with another user

User permissions issue: Verify that the user has access to the project where the document is located.
Document not shared: Explicitly share the document with the intended user.
22. I cannot unlock an item/element/requirement
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Locked by another user: Contact the user who locked the item and request that they unlock it.
Insufficient permissions: Ensure you have the appropriate permissions to unlock items.
23. I cannot update/change/modify the project settings
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Role restrictions: Confirm that your role allows you to modify project settings.

24. I cannot see the full traceability matrix graph
