User password security policy

In the users window, the Visure User Passwords tab will display a set of password configurations for all Visure users.

These options are not available for users imported from other user management systems such as Azure Entra ID, OIDC or Windows, as each one has its own security policy for user passwords. 

The ADMIN user and super administrators will be able to configure the following security settings:

• The maximum number of failed attempts before a user is blocked (by default, 3).
• The amount of time a user is blocked after exceeding the maximum number of failed attempts (by default, 15 min).
• The validity period of the user’s password (by default, 3 months). Only for users that have not enabled the “Password never expires” option.
• The minimum length of passwords (by default, 8).
• If passwords must have at least one capital letter.
• If passwords must have at least one lower case letter.
• If passwords must have at least one digit.
• If passwords must have at least one special character.
  • Only the following characters are valid:

! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~

• If passwords can contain their own login (by default, set to ‘No’).
