Modifying users

To the right of every user in the list, there will be an edit icon () that will allow administrators modify some of the properties of the users. Administrators can also double-click on top of a user to modify its properties.

Users can modify their own properties through the Profile Manager option in the user menu.

After clicking on the edit button, the following window will appear:

Depending on the type of user (Visure, Azure Entra ID, OIDC or Windows), some fields may not be editable as they may be coming from a third-party application.

Exclusively for Visure users, there will be two additional options at the bottom of the Connection Data section:

  • User cannot change password: In some cases, we may not want users to change their own passwords e.g. shared accounts, even though this practice is not recommended.
  • Password never expires: We may force users to change their password after a given period of time. This time is defined in the Visure User Passwords tab, Password Duration (Days) property.
