How to Copy Dashboards, Traceability Matrix Reports and your Home Page

In Authoring, the following features can be customized through the web application or via the files in the server where Authoring is installed:

• Dashboards
• Homepage
• Saved Traceability Matrix Configurations

In order to make a backup or restore this information, the following steps need to be followed:

Remember that you need access to the server where Visure Authoring is installed

1. In the File Explorer (), go to the “C” drive.
2. Then go to a folder called inetpub ().
3. From here, a folder called Visure Authoring X (where X is the version of Authoring) contains another folder called templates, this is what contains all the information from the features mentioned before. Three folders are located here:
   • dashboards
   • home
   • matrix
     

Each folder will contain more folders with the name of the projects that has dashboards, homepages, or traceability matrix customized.

In order to back up the information, copy the folder and save in your preferred storage.

In order to restore it, just place inside the dashboards, home or matrix folder, the content that was previously backed up.Type your content here.
