The Application Bar explained
The Application Bar runs along the top of the Visure interface. It holds the global controls that apply regardless of which area of the project you're working in.
What's in the Application Bar:
- The project selector at the top-left — shows the current project name; click to switch between projects.
- The baseline selector — shows which baseline is currently active (typically
Currentfor normal editing). - The search bar — searches items across the project.
- The notification bell for notifications.
- The refresh icon to reload the current view.
- The help icon for in-app tips and links.
- The gear icon for project configuration. The gear menu contains
Custom Attributes,Link Types,Review Management,Test Management,Workflows, and thePlugin Manager— the configuration options that govern how the project behaves. The menu items depend on your permissions: administrators see all options; non-admins see fewer or none. - Your avatar at the top-right for the user menu (profile, language, theme, sign out).
The Application Bar stays visible no matter what area of the project you're in.
